Mark Worthington was born in Honolulu, HI. He became proficient at piano at the age of 5 as a natural ear player. He spent his educational years cultivating his skills in composing, arranging, music theory, piano performance, and orchestration, eventually leading to a degree in Music Composition from Azusa Pacific University.

After moving to Colorado in his elementary years, Mark showed interest in producing trailer and film soundtrack music. By the age of 15, he learned orchestration, advanced theory, and instrumentation, composing numerous pieces for symphony. His biggest sources of inspiration were soundtracks like How To Train Your Dragon's "Test Drive" and Star Wars's "The Force Theme".

At the same age, Mark began playing piano for numerous events, gigs, and recordings. Today, he works primarily as a composer for film/TV, a piano teacher, and a gig/high end event/session pianist. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in guitar, drums, bass, vocals, and various other instruments.

Aside from music, Mark is a skilled video editor, writer, website developer, and artist. He is also a scratch golfer, spending much of his free time on the course with his family and friends.
